New Horizons is the debut album by the Philadelphia-based jazz collective Sounds of Liberation. It was recorded during March 1972 at Impact Sound in Philadelphia, and was released on vinyl later that year by Dogtown Records. Rare but also truly excellent music, exuberant, immersive spiritual jazz. This is the 2019 remaster on thick 180g vinyl, in a sturdy gatefold sleeve with OBI. The vinyl and sleeve have been barely used and still in excellent shape, the vinyl has some minor surface scuffs that do not affect play, and the sleeve has the tiniest bit of edge wear. Beautiful copy of a very rare album!
