Tracklist includes “Beautiful Boyz,” “Noah’s Ark,” “Armageddon,” “Brazilian Sun.” This is the record that put them on the map beyond the initial “La Maison de Mon Rêve” cult following — 2005, the height of the freak-folk/New Weird America moment alongside Devendra Banhart and Joanna Newsom. Beat-driven, toy-instrument, hip-hop-inflected folk that doesn’t sound like anything else from that scene.
